HALLOWEEN PARTY

Halloween is a celebration observed in several countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. Explore International School had a Halloween Parade where students were allowed to dress up according to the Halloween theme. Students from Nursery till UKG participated in the parade on 14th November,2018. The idea behind celebrating Children’s Day-cum-Halloween in our school is to create awareness of the festivals celebrated across the world.

The kids mostly preferred dressing up as skeletons with colourful wigs. The most popular costumes are Dracula teeth and masks so few kids dressed up as Dracula. To accompany them Pre-primary teachers also dressed up as per the Halloween theme. Kids enjoyed skeleton dancing in their respective classrooms. They cut a cake with the help of their respective class teachers.
